His Best Birthday Yet!

My boy had his first birthday a few weeks back. I set up a little home studio in my living room and got some fun cake pictures to celebrate. The little stinker kept wanting to stand up and walk off, so we had to move to the dinning room table.

My First Urban Shoot

While I was in Colorado visiting family I was able to do my first downtown urban shoot. First of all it was 70 degrees and gorgeous most days and a great chance to get outside. I loved all the textures of the old brick and the bright red door we found...I had so much fun, can't wait to do it again!

This rocking chair is about 50 years old, given to my Mom as a gift when she was young.

Welcome Baby Tyce

Little two week old Tyce was a joy to photograph. There we hardly any tears in the 4 hours I spent with him and his cute family. I had some new shots I wanted to try and Mom was all for letting me try them *thanks!* Big Brother Sky has the most gorgeous blue eyes, and very photogenic. I got so many great shots, here are just a few of my favs of Tyce, Sky and family.

Chloe 16 months

Chloe is a proud new big sister at 16 months, crazy huh! I had a blast taking pictures of my sweet-spunky niece. (she moved so fast the best way to get a good shoot was to put her in her crib) :)

Fast moving Evan

Evan is a fun almost 2 year old who does not sit still long...or at all. I was so happy to see I got some great ones of his amazing blue eyes.
